The headlines this week reeked of déjà vu, reminiscent of previous confrontations and intifadas, as conditions on the ground in Gaza are becoming more and more similar to those that preceded the 2014 war.19:05 05.02.16 | 4 comments
Admadinejad must love Peres. Peres has given Ahmadinejad all the justification he needs for his denial of what Hitler did to the Jews. Peres should have been the keynote speaker at the Tehran conference. After he retires, Peres should accept the David Irving Chair of Holocaust Denial at Princeton, where he can share an office with Holocaust Denier Bernard Lewis. In the meantime, Peres better not go to Austria, where they have laws against Holocaust Denial. Until Israel publicly and officially affirms the Armenian Holocaust, it has not right, no right whatsoever, to criticize anyone, including Ahmadinejad, for denying the "tragedy, not a genocide" of the Jews at the hands of the Third Reich. If Israel, of all nations, can deny the Armenian Holocaust, then anyone can deny the "tragedy" the Jews suffered at the hands of the Nazis.
