Israel is looking for the UN Security Council to deal with Iran's nuclear threat, and I'm sure the US has promised a deadline for this diplomacy to end. An Israeli attack--in fact, any attack on Iran-- is highly likely to bring forth a massive Hizbollah shower of rockets on Israel. Israel might invade southern Lebanon again, and this time around the Lebanese nation as a whole might seize the chance to forge a peace treaty with Israel. Been there, done that you might say (reference is to 1982), but I'd bet on it..Syria will do nothing--it's just too weak. I wonder if the Palestinian Arabs ever wonder why Syrians have never fought in over 30 years to liberate the occupied Golan...As to the wretched Ahmadinejad, his arrogant smirk will soon be in the garbage can of history..The Iranian people (only half of whom are ethnic Persians by the way--Iran is truly an empire, aka occupying regime!)are repressed by the most primitive "religion" imaginable. Ahmanijedad and his controllers have just about made atheism respectable...Maybe strong sanctions might bring the economy down, and soon after the regime, but the world (and surely Israel)can't wait for nuclear program to turn "hot"...Lots of people poopood the threat of the "crazy" Hitler; I don't think they will now ignore Hitler wannabes....
