I am not familiar with the details of the 95% offer of Barak, and particularly with its lack of dignity, but I am quite familiar with negotiations in general, and cannot imagine that there was no way to continue the negotiations, probably better at a later date, while showing optimism in a final success, which would have raised all people's hopes. And NO VIOLENCE! Arafat, I am sorry to say, was the main creator of Palestinian failure to assure a good life, in dignity, to all Palestinians, and Israelis too! THAT'S what negotiations are about. Instead, his life accomplishment is the present reality.
