So if we as 'anglos' vote right we are extremists and if we vote for moderation we are naive. Nice to know the huge 'anglo' community in Israel has so much power. Exactly where are your numbers to back up the thesis? Jewish Home may have gotten a few more 'anglo' votes than from the rest of the Israeli community, but to say Lapid got his 'victory' because some big time enclave of voters from N. America and elsewhere suddenly emerged is slightly farfetched. Plenty of centrists voters representing many backgrounds voted for Lapid because they are fed up with the ultra religious holding everyone hostage on 'social' issuers. While I understand you want to prove a point, lets remember the folks in Efrat, and other 'settlements' who are Anglos probalby voted Jewish Home in bigger numbers. Again, back up what you are saying with numbers. But I doubt you have thme to quantify your theories. Lastly, as an 'Anglo' voter from Kfar Saba, is it possible that many voted for Lapid because moderation may in fact be a good path, give and take, not the extreme. I love the way you clasify all "Anglos' as middle class yuppies only absorbed by our own interests.....and then in the next second claim we are ideologues. Congrats on not saying anything that really explains what happened and what will happen in the future.
