So there it is again - we are not bound by anything - even an agreement reached between our Trade and Industry Minister and the EU in 2003-4 in which Israel agreed to label its W Bank products as produced by this or that settlement. But we had no intention of keeping to the agreement. The almost late Prime Minster Sharon announced in the wake of the agreement signing that the government would pay any penalty any settlement faced for not keeping to the agreement. This is the behaviour of a state of people who are in fact bandits and reject any laws. It would be smarter to add the skull and crossbones to our national flag - that would be a statement of who we really are. In the meantime our Foreign Minister should be encouraged to announce that his government rescinds the agreement with the EU. We're not sticking to it anyway - why not be honest? Or is that a word we don't know either?
