Police fear that disciples of the rabbi, convicted of bribery, might lash out.04:00 27.11.15 | 0 comments
While I agree with the premise behind Rabbi Leibowitz's article, the army today is starting to change. For years, we have been complaining about the lack of Chareidi participation in the Israeli Army, and for that matter, a productive participation in Israeli society in general. Finally, we are starting to see an influx of Chareidi soldiers into the army, something long overdue. These pioneer Chareidim should be made to feel comfortable, so as to encourage a greater participation from the Chareidi community. Clearly some compromises need to be reached for the well being of the changing face of the IDF.
