Kurdistan was part of the Ottoman Empire in highly majority at free will (also muslims). But todays they are nearly 20 % Kurdish citizen in Turkey. The BDP who wants autonomy got 6-7 Percent of the votes in last Election. So 25 Percent want autonomy. A lot of these are today Leninist Atheists or something else then muslims. The rest who wants just cultural freedom and more rights dont want a seperation or Autonomy. Erdogans ruling party has nearly 70 Kurdish members in the Parliament this shall you guys tell something. Kurds got more Rights then ever since the AKP came to power, and a new Constitution with even more Democratic rights and freedon is in Work. Dont fall at the lies of the Propoganda from the PKK media or some western, who want to make Turkey just looking bad. Turks dont kill their Kurdish citizens or somewhere else. PKK kills ungilty persons like families of Police forces it makes what some of hamas also does TERROR. This cant be tolerated whatever the reasons are. So the Turkish armed Forces attacks their Barracks (in the maountain, no Villages or Urban areas, even with precision Weapons). And the US support this, beside we will protect us if they do or not... You can verifiy all this from Govermental releases or EU studies or anywhere with reputation. So this shall tell you guys who have no Idea about this Issue and bring this up in nearly all news here about Turkey... maybe you also want just to make Turkey bad??? We Turks elected the AKP in mayjortiy and support their Democratic stands in all maters in Turkey or Palästine or somewhereelse. For failures we will critize or will punish them in the next votes. Turkey is a Demecrotic Country not perfect but we are improving, Thank you AKP...
