'There’s a unique place of pique for the Israelis in certain places in the administration' hovering over negotiations, expert tells New York Times.08:55 29.04.16 | 0 comments
As a frequent reader and contributor to this site I am regularly appalled by the smears cast upon Khalid. I sometimes agree with him, and sometimes disagree, yet it is clear that he advances some clear, insightful thoughts. The reality is that Israel "is rarely missing an opportunity to miss an opportunity." The reality is that ultimately something akin to the Geneva proposals will be adopted. Successive Israeli governments seem to putting blinders on to avoid this reality. Withdraw to the green line, fortify defenses there, and return to reality.
