I live in Israel with my wife and family, pay taxes, vote and serve in the army. Even tiny decisions in Israel affect my life, not to mention huge security decisions. I know why I care. These aren't just words, they are my life. I don't want any MORE of my friends or family killed in Palestinian suicide bombs. You, meanwhile, don't live here. What difference does it make to you if Israel would ever implement your suicidal policies? You aren't here to live with the consequences. In your own analogy, you left the tribe. That's fine, now stop bothering those of us who stay in the tribe, love the tribe, and care about the future of the tribe. Ok, "achi?" If you care so much about the poor Palestinians, maybe you should go live with them and see how great their society is from the inside, like Amira Hass. At least she has the courage of her convictions, unlike you, sitting in your ivory tower in NYC. Shabbat Shalom, brother.
