Bibi, remember how Sharon dealt with Bush and his Roadmap? Sharon was interested in Bantustans for the Palestinians, not in a real state. So what did he do? He came up with the "Gaza Evacuation" diversion exercise, throw something you don`t need to the wolves and keep what you need for yourself. And you can do the same, Bibi Baby. Sacrifice the Golan and keep Eretz Yisrael. A great deal. The Golan is not part of historic Eretz Yisrael (where the 12 tribes dwelled), but is merely a high-ground which, nowadays, with missiles and some electronic listening stations, can be given back to Syria safely. Indeed, Generals Rabin and Barak, along with NETANYAHU himself (in his previous incarnation as PM) promised it to Syria in return for peace. Once the peace initiative with Syria starts, criticism of Netanyahu will stop in Israel and abroad (from the left), and he will become a heroic figure. Not a bad deal, especially since Likud ideologues would never be able to agree to a reasonable compromise with PA.
