I was once accused of something and even sued. Not a shred of evidence was presented against me and in spite of volumes of supportive evidence to the contrary the judge even once commented like this. I told the court, "People are convicted upon hard evidence, not some silly platitude." I not only proved there was nothing against me but, I counter sued and won many thousands in slander against the person. And I did that because the one thing that hurt the most was the feeling that unless I did, other people would say to themselves where there is smoke there is fire. I was deeply, deeply hurt by the accusation when I was innocent. It still bothers me to this day, 17 years later. And certainly there must be people who wanted to believe against me--BUT that does not make a lie the truth! When it was over (3 years!) an attorney told me, "You are one tough lady, and when you say you are weary of something, I believe you." Netanyahu is only accused, not convicted. Wait.
