Howdy Abu; Israel can also continue the Sharon's unilateral disengagement plans by completing the security barrier in the West Bank which will simultaneously define the border, thwart terrorist infiltration, and retain the large settlement blocs and East Jerusalem. Israel can then withdraw all settlers and IDF personnel from the Palestinian side of the fence. That will leave 100% of the Gaza Strip and 92% of the West Bank (in a contiguous chunk) for an unoccupied Palestinian state. It won't lead to peace, but it will lead to the next-best-thing: air-tight security for Israel and the physical separation of the two hostile peoples. The beauty of the plan is that since it is unilateral, it does not depend upon negotiations, agreements, or cooperation with the PA and there is nothing that the Palestinian militants can effectively do to stop it from happening. Israel can then sit back and watch the Palestinians fall into chaos with armed gangs running amuck amid over-population.
