Absolutely, Mr. Abbas should stay home... if a final status agreement is not signed, or if it is another denial of international law. The statement from the PA that their police were deployed in Jenin before Israeli aproval was a good step, as are statements that Palestinian prisoners should be released en mass prior to agreement. It's about time stringent conditions were set for both parties--including provisional full sovereignty for Palestine, an ironclad Israeli border on the 1949 "green line," and so forth. It's only a dream for many, a deadly game for many more. Be generous to the Palestinians, even if you believe they're all guilty... take a chance to prove that you,re better than they are, if that's what you're thinking.
