The need to preempt Iran and export gas to Egypt was the reason the government gave to push through its controversial plan for Israel's natural gas. Now, this reason may no longer exist.03:48 31.08.15 | 1 comments
The saddest part is that the whole article is largely correct except for the central thrust. Peace activists such as myself and every other credible peace activist that I know of, do NOT seek the destruction of Israel. That is simply a vile and deceitful lie. And the study's authors or Barak Ravid is damned well aware of this fact. The central point that should have been adhered to is that the world sees Israel "as an occupation state". Duh! Israel IS an occupation state; how many decades now? If Israel's "think tank" cannot come up with a factual conclusion, and in this case they lied and covered the real reason for the world's disdain of Israel, then there is simply nothing that any initiative can do that is based on this report other than make the situation worse. It's the occupations stupid! And then stir in the arrests of activists including the head of ACRI, the move to practically bar any NGO's from legally operating in the illegally occupied territories... Time's up.
