Firstly, my religion has nothing to do with this debate. Secondly if you read my second post to Shlomo #71 you will see my argument Thirdly, under the Geneva Convention Israel has a duty to protect civilians, i.e. it is not allowed to deliberatly target areas where civilians are gathered. Israel is currently firing in the general direction of where the Qassams are launched, this is not actively targeting the Qassam and those who launch them. Forthly, An Israeli general has stated that the new targeting policy will cause civilian casualties. Therefore the IDF knows that its policy is targeting civilians deliberately, this is against the Geneva Convention. I shall also state here that Qassam launches should be stopped, and Israel has the right to defend herself. I have no problems with the killing of those firing, manufacturing or ordering the firing. They are terrorists. However I do have a problem when children are killed in their own homes by artillery shells
