With all my misgiving about Oslo and the lousy and incompetent job he did, the fact remains he was elected by a good majority of the people on a platform for peace. Notwithstanding Hamas and its problems, Abbas failed to tackle the issues which are important to the people; corruption and incompetence, control of thugs and rackateeters, lack of good competent team not the parasites he has with him now, clear time line for ending the occupation. So that Saeb can have an idea when he is to retire. His behavior is very partisan and raises questions of his ability to represent the people under occupation. Fatah and the PLO must not be too ambitious to think they represent all 7 millions inlcuding those in the diaspora. First let them truely and competently represent and manage the affairs of those under occupation. In over 15 years the PA failed at every thing and they have nothing to show for except incompetent administration and army of thugs and crooks. We have serious problems with PA.
