... feet is holy ground. There has only been one nation in world history with the vision and drive to establish a country in this contested area known as "The Land Between" in the Middle East; this coveted land bridge between Asia, Africa, & Europe, and this acknowledgement belongs to the ancient Hebrews/Israelites and the modern Jews, a group that were given that vision and drive by their one G-d. What He accomplished through them in His Land of Israel and His city of Jerusalem became world renowned, and no other conquering nation ever shared that same desire or that vision. The Muslim Arabs obviously didn't since the Islamic conquest of the area in the 7th Century as their primary focus was on their own holy cities of Mecca & Medina, and Jerusalem's mosques became more a spiritual afterthought. Recognizing G-d's vision for this area would go a long ways towards the Palestinians realizing a shared, peaceful homeland here but forcefully resisting it, won't.
