Israel is a client state of the U.S. It is a fortress planted in the Middle East designed to do Washington's bidding. A state without borders is a colonizing military force exploiting the people and the resources of the land it occupies. It cannot be what it is not, so dialogue is not an option. This explains why Netanyahu does not engage in peace talks. How can Israel talk peace to those it holds in chains? The hypocrisy of it all. U.S. power in the ME is tenuous. Washington eschews intensifying its military presence there since doing so has been so costly in blood and treasure. So Israel remains a crucial ally to a failing empire. Israel is what she is---reconciliation with the Palestinians and its neighbors would result in the dissolution of Zionist illusions.
