The 3rd from last paragraph says "for anger over hated policies to boil over into racism against an entire people". It sounds like what you want is to enjoy the fruits of your leaders' misdeeds without being responsible for them. Do you want a Palestinian (for example) to say "It's okay. I hate your government but the people are good"? Israel has a democratic government that is supposed to speak for the biggest bloc. In America, during Vietnam, there was widespread protesting but still it was implicit that some people outside America had a "right" to hate Americans. Also, the use of the word "racism" is quite dishonest. There are very specific national (Israeli) policies that cause the hate. Some people will generalize Israeli actions to Jews, or to Middle Easterners, or whatever. But using the word racism is just a silly appeal for sympathy. Most Israel critics are criticizing the actions of Israel, not anybody's race.
