Iran knows that its position is untenable. The cross border diversion reference a contested oil well, by Iranian troops without firing a shot caused two main points. Also not to forget Iraq. Iran can well count on many supporters and create chaos as US troops prepare to deploy to Afghanistan. Iran is flexing its muscles, telling the world that they are not willing to lose their military counters before a battle with either the US and Israel. The January deadline is approaching fast and the regime will no doubt act before either sanctions or a military attack. The so called forged documents is another regime ploy, for they have been caught before with blueprints for a nuclear warhead. The West has played the waiting game for so long, searching for a diplomatic breakthrough, that is far off.
