A stronger I ran, especially one that is armed with nuclear arms is exactly what will bring peace to the middle east. I agree with the writer that Iran will not use its weapons offensively, but only as a deterrant. It does not even have to declare them, but only to maintain a policy of ambiguity, like Israel. The hegemonic group in the US halls of power is the Jewish community here with its numerous think tanks, lobbies, etc. When enough people among the Jewish elites will realize that American or Israeli adventures in the middle east might lead, even inadvertantly, to a nuclear war that might annihilate Israel, there will be no more adventurism on their side. Actually, when third party players, like Russia or China, will realize the power of the Jewish community in the US, and declare that any war against them will bring even a modest nuclear reaction against Israel (which will not be able to react, fearing a terminal response) then American foreign policy will be much more careful and nuanced.

Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn

Why Britain's Labour has become synonymous with anti-Semitism

When senior party members spout vile anti-Jewish theories and at the same time insist they are in no way anti-Semites, they truly believe they are not lying.

Alvy (Woody Allen) and Annie (Diane Keaton) in 'Annie Hall.'
Why is it hard to fall in love, and even harder to sustain it?

The answer can be summed up in one word, narcissism, which manifests itself in three principal ways. There are ways to overcome this love of self, however.
