Last year, during an incursion into Gaza to stop Qassam launches, the IDF bombed an apartment building in Beit Hunan. More than 20 Palestinians were killed in their beds. In this single attack, the IDF killed more civilians than have been killed by Qassams in their entire seven year existance. The Beit Hunan incident was only one of a multitude of IDF attacks upon Gaza civilians. In all, there have been many times as many Palestinian civilians killed by the IDF as have been killed by Qassams. Yehuda Ben Meir is one of those who become delerious with pleasure at the thought of collective punishment upon a helpless civilian population, as if that is the answer to the Qassam threat. Buy a clue Yehuda, this may temporarily satisfy your lust for revenge, but it will have no effect upon the Qassams. It is a strategy for losers. What is the gain in striking at the civilian population in order to punish Hamas? This is exactly what Hamas wants you to do. This increases their support!
