The Defense Ministry has said it will comply with the court ruling and Israeli history shows that Israelis comply with the rulings of their high court (as opposed for example to complying with the biased and stacked ICJ in the Hague). There is no lesson here for supporters of Israeli democracy since the system works; (so much so that it was a Palestinian Arab Israeli citizen who stood up and denounced the one-sidedness of the just-ended UN Conference held at the European Parlianment). No, the lesson is for "Nobobdy" and others like Vickery: Imagine the PA having a court where they would hear cases plead by the representatives of dead Israeli babies, seeking redress for their loss. Imagine Palestinian judges who would dare to suggest that after 60 years of refusal to deal with modern reality (let alone the reality of the longer history of Israel)compromise is in order. Israel will move the fence, but today or tomorrow, IJ will send more Kassams at kindergartens in unoccupied territory.
