As Israel probably killed up to 1/3 of Hezbollah's front line troops with minimum losses, check the Moslem cemetery on the Israel/Lebanon border; it was not a bad outcome. They had no intentions of staying in Lebanon in any case and were not driven out.The invasion did eliminate, for that moment, the possibility of a "coup" against the Lebanese Government by Hezbollah.
