If colonists from somewhere else wanted to divide your state in two so they could establish their own, would you be happy with that? If the UN decided to partition the US to create a homeland for Rastafarians, let's say, because their ancestors practised the religion in what is now southern California thousands of years ago, would you be happy with that? Do you believe that because French, Germans, Dutch, Poles etc., are Europeans it would be fine to take one of those countries because there are heaps of other countries in Europe were they can live? I bet not. So why should the Palestinians accept any other Arab country just because colonists from Europe want theirs? As to Hamas, their position is no different to the Israeli government which rejects the rights of Palestinians to exist and which continually mouths the lie that there were no Palestinians before Israel was established.
