My eyes have been opened. Sharon destroyed peace by destroying the West Bank terrorist cells placed there by peace-loving Yasser Arafat. Then he really destroyed peace by withdrawing from Gaza, leaving the Arabs no Jews to kill until they got rockets. Chutspah! Meanwhile, moderate Abbas, accompnied by the moderate Arab regimes offering peace, many of them weakened or vanished by revolutionary calls for democracy, offered a plan which our leaders faiedl to embrace due to their own idiocy and "survivalist" mode. Temblim! Morons! And with Hamas obviously prepared to accept the existence of the Jewish State via the ascendent Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood and its oft-declared policy of honoring Sadat's treaty with Israel, the blame for continued war rests solely with the Jews! Those stiff-necked militarists! I got the picture now, I feel the rythym. Haman was just about to offer an ulitmate conciliatory gesture to the Persian Jews, after years of aggressive and unprovoked violence, but Queen Esther went into "survivalist" mode. Instead of responding positively to Haman's overtures, she whispered naughties in the King's ear, and he turned on his trusted aide. Mordechai, the bloodthirsty Jew, did the rest by slaughtering Persians who were inching their way to "moderation", and who just needed to be met half-way. Thank you, Akiva, for the light moments in the Purim spirit. Shalom!

For French teen studying in Israel, it's all about being a Jew among Jews

Arrivals / Departures: Anti-Semitism in France is certainly not the reason why this teen chose to come to Israel; an Israeli whose relatives perished in the Holocaust finds living in Berlin 'perfectly fine.'
