It's really quite moving to read how sensitively these Bauhaus buildings were planned by Western European architects in Israel using locally developed construction materials and " the need to adapt to the Mediterranean climate ." It brought back memory of a photograph of a family photo in my first childhood home balcony in Ramat Gan with greenery around. It's unfortunate that the architectural sensitivities have not been applied to the political sensibilities of the inhabitants of Israel, both Jews and Arabs living together for many centuries.
