A one-state solution can only work for both Jews and 'Palestinians' if both are more committed to their nation and its principles than to the differences between them (and the destruction of either one of themselves). So, the artificial construction of one nation or two nations will not work with the enmity between the two parties unresolved. It's something the good professor doesn't address. I believe it's because he harbors a fundamental disdain for Jews and Israel.
