1. Most of the Israeli public is extremely dissatisfied with Olmert and Kadima's blundering rule of Israel, and want him out. He needed to resign a year ago. 2. Especially after the very unsuccessful disengagement from Gaza, most Israelis are extremely wary of continuing the policy of disengagement from the West Bank. This article somehow tries to fuse the issue of our need to get rid of Olmert with his apparent failure to move forward on the front of West Bank withdrawal. What a load of absolute nonsense. Olmert is currently positioning Kadima to give the West Bank to the Palestinians, on the basis of assumed promises from a weak Palestinian Government which has a track record of failing in all past commitments. So the article is wrong on all accounts. Olmert's legacy, if successful, will result in an Israel where Katushas and Qassams will be constantly falling all over Israel, be it from the West Bank, Gaza or Lebanon.
