And it is sinking. The complacent majority of Israelis may not want to know as they collectively whine: "Mah Ichpatli" (So what) but the rest of the world is watching and recording despite the p;atitides by the likes of Wiesel and dershowitz, meant to whiten the stain and clean up the stink. But the world sees and hears. More and more it is having an effect, as university groups, labour unions, human rights groups are succeeding in takng action against Israel. It will take some time before the momentum is where it should be but in the meantime rest assured that this government of occupation and demogrpahic racism will be sinking further and further into the muck and mire of their own making. They are positioning themselves, through their arrogance and hypocracy, into a corner and digging their hole deeper and deeper. They are s omorally bankrupt that they are too blind to see it.

Our craving for ideology means that we are partial to ideological leaders. But we need leaders who will make smart decisions that are aligned with the public interest.
