It's good for Netanyahu to try, but I think Erdogan'st Turkey set the course towards Islamism, whose credentials nowadays are shown by who bashes Israel most and more outrageously. Turkey is competing with Iran in that anti-Semitic libel Fest. If furthermore, Erdogan climbed the high tree of "relations between Israel and Turkey will not be fully repaired until Israel apologizes and pays compensation to the victims of the Gaza-flotilla incident" one should remember Turkey incited the IHH to sail in the first place. There is no need in Turkey for Israel's friendship. If Dagan said Israel is becominga a liability more than an asset to israel's closest ally, the USA, then imagine how much Turkey needs Israel. It can thrive in NATO and even enter the EU without a single apology of its constant, daily bashing ot Israel.
