Israel's Foreign Ministry ordered to 'reassess' EU involvement with Palestinians after decision to label West Bank goods; 'decision is almost completely devoid of any real significance,' official says.23:15 29.11.15 | 25 comments
First, it wasn't just the Palestinians who rejected the partition. Many Zionists did as well. Second, it remains to be seen whether that was a blunder on their part (meaning: a Palestinian state, once formed, will be more secure than Israel, for many reasons). The absolute bottom line reality is that without a Palestinian state Israel's survival is coming to an end. Israel can make alliances with neo-Nazi Europeans and buy weapons out the yazoo but reality intervenes. The next step, if Israel will survive another decade, is a Palestinian state.
