1. if the europe operated by the rule-based system, would have long time ago stopped dealing with china that occupied the internationally recognized tibet. instead, the europeans salivate each time they get a fat chinese contract. 2. the above approach completely disregards the unique situation regarding disputed territories of judea and samaria. israel cannot simply leave these territories because at present they do not belong to any legal entity. since jordan, from which the territories were taken, does not want them back, officially, israel is not legally compelled to leave all of them to the so-called palestinians. the un resolutions of 1967 don't even mention these palestinians. and the oslo, that supposedly replaced the old resolutions, doesn't state that israel should leave the territories unilaterally. meantime, israel has no choice but stay, occupy in your jargon, in these territories.
