the major obstacle to peace has been and remains arab-palestinian intransigence. arabs still refuse to recognise israel as the national homeland of the jewish people. the attempt to divide israel along imaginary ethnic lines is illegitimate and counterproductive. once a peace agreement is reached, based on mutually agreed on parameters, the majority of israeli jews will support the agreement. netanyahu, barak, liberman and otheres will support an agreement which recognises israel as the national homeland of the jewish people, a nation state which has the right to live in peace, with secured borders. the palestinians will have their state, based on the idea of two states for two peoples: one a state which is the national homeland of the jewish people, and the other which is the national homeland of the palestinian people.
