Yeserday some accused me of not being honest when I said that the state of Israel kill and bomb indifferently in what it claims to be a war on terror. It is a shame that many can not voice openly their opposition to the loss of innocent lives be it for Palestinians, Israelis or Lebanense. Israel is the strongest side in this conflict, its capable of inflicting harm on people and a lot of damage on infrastructure. But being the strongest side aslo means being responisble for putting forward a compromise, that is just and acceptable (leaving Gaza and continuing to imprison people behind walls and wires is no compromise). As I told my Israeli friend what kind of a compromise a Palestinian or a Lebanese can offer when their families are killed, their homes are destroyed, their countries are shreded to pieces? What is left when their jobs, careers and long time savings go down the drain? In fact the majority are left with nothing to live for!!!
