Germany has become a preferred destination for Jewish immigration, as it had been for more than half a century prior to the Nazi period. Because of the Holocaust, it is now much easier for Jews than anyone else to obtain German citizenship. As the recent spy scandal demonstrates, all you have to do is submit an application in which you identify yourself as a descendant of a Holocaust survivor or of a Jew who fled Nazi Germany and its annexed or occupied territories in Europe, and you will get your German/EU passport within a few weeks, even if that claim is fraudulent. I don't think this applies to descendants of German Christians expelled from Israel, who were granted compensation under the 1952 bilateral reparations treaty between Israel and West Germany . They would hardly pose a demographic problem, but still have no Right of Return. Not to mention the Palestinians. And this is the paradox which increasingly bothers people: Anywhere outside Israel, and especially in Germany, Jews demand minority protection, even privileges. In their own country they demand protection of the Jewish majority, and to hell with everyone else.
