Ignoring the Palestinian issue and making peace with Syria is like giving a cancer patient 2 asprins and asking his children to call back in 20 years for a follow up. The Gordian knot must be broken and there is only one way to do it. The Palestinian issue is like a festering wound, it does not get better with time, only worse. Those who believe in a peaceful solution will be superseded by those who believe in violence, more bloodshed, animosity and hatred will follow. In the meantime, Israel will have completed its colonization of the occupied territories, 30 years ago, the number of settlers were 20,000 today it is over 500,000. Anyone who believes that this trend will stop or be reversed is probably dumb enough to buy the Brooklyn Bridge.
