Thanks for that Judith. Here in Canada I think we tend to be human beings first, Cdn citizens second, and ethnics of whatever stripe, including Jewish, third. It often strikes me that Israel inverts that order, with pain and suffering for all concerned. At the same time, there is justification for the state of Israel, based simply upon its prior existence there, and nothing else. But that would be a state where Jews might be in a majority, but sharing a territory with Muslims and Christians or whatever, in equality. i.e., human first, Israeli second and Jewish third. .....sorry Yvet!
