Establishing Criminal Negligence in the US is quite difficult, and should be. Is it any different in Israel? While the Interior Minister might be guilty of misfeasance, and is certainly guilty of nonfeasance, was there any evidence of gross negligence much less malfeasance? Bibi made a political decision in placing a manifestly incompetent person in charge of the Interior Ministry. If that were proof of malfeasance, then the entire Israel political system would end up in jail. I sympathize with the frustration of the victims families. I do not sympathize with their demand. The problems which killed their relatives is systemic and not individual specific.
