You have no concept of reality do you Natalie. Syria's past history has shown them to use the Golan as a firing range into Israel. Before 1967 and before 1948. If the Golan is ever to be ceded back to Syria it will only be as the final part of a peace agreement. Who is to say that once the Golan goes back to Syria that Syria will no longer cozy up to Iran or Hama s, or Hezbollah. Once Israel gives up the Golan she will never be able to get it back unless untold thousands die. Till a peace agreement comes Israel better hold on to the high ground....the bird in the hand.
