"Reality will tell..." In the real world, nobody relies on intellectuals and writers to manage the affairs of state. Would you want to eat in a restaurant where the food was prepared by "intellectuals and writers"??? They do what they do well, they do what other experts do...badly. Hipshooters who don't think things through because they don't know what they don't know. Or...as we say in the US - "you can always tell a Harvard man - you just can't tell him very much". Probably the only more frightening source for foreign policy advice would be "Talkback" contributors to Haaretz.
