Hi Lynn- Technically the Geneva Convention imposes no duties on the Pals. But that's BS evasion. Of course, Hamas is a villainous terrorist organization. All attacks on non-combatants are wrong, counter-productive and prohibited, including those by Israelis. Israel has the right to retaliate against those attacking its people. But it does not have the right to punish people en masse, including innocent persons. Why does Israel want to punish all Pals or all Gazans? When it goes after the terrorists, most of the World (including me) will support you. But when Israel attacks innocent Pals, it is no better than Hamas. The world, including Israel (on paper) has collectively condemned and criminalized collective punishment.
