"I see the necessity of the wall, but not the manipulative purposes. I refuse to accept idea?s like grabbing so much land and ruining people lives in the name of the wall. The Bil?in people are not extremists and their matters have to be brought to an international court" I agree that the wall serves a purpose in a defensive mode but it should not be used to enable Israel to annex even more West Bank land. The route of the wall weaves in and out of the West Bank, cutting villages off from farmland and, in one picture I saw, literally dividing a town. What else can this be but deliberate? The people of the village of Bilin have a demonstration against the wall once a week which consists of marching up to the wall, or as near as they can get, before the IDF stops them with rubber bullets, teargas and live fire. So far I believe the Israeli High Court has altered the course of the wall a little, but not nearly enough. Regards
