I have to believe that the US has a plan B for when 90 days later arrives and the parties are at a stand still. Israel reveals it's hierarchy of American incentives with freeing Jonathan Pollard certainly being near the top of the list. It is not totally cold-hearted for the US to make Pollard serve his adjudicated sentence unless something politically extraordinary dictates otherwise. Israel needs to be flexible and appear rationale or continue to slide down a slope of geopolitical isolation and disillusionment in Washington. Theology aside, the US has militarily kept Israel viable for several decades and will be the defacto security lifeline in the future.
