David, it seems nothing else quite highlights the double standards in Israeli society between Jews and non-Jews as the Right of Return does. The indigenous people of Palestine who were criminally uprooted from their homes in 1948 to make way for incoming Jewish settlers have been refused their right to return to "their home" in Israel while hundred of thousands of strangers from other continents with no immediate claims to the land than other than with ancient Jewish roots are allowed to return to Israel. Now that's beyond being unfair. That's just criminal in my book. Not to mention the fact that Israel is obligated by its admission to the UN in 1948 as a member state to accept the refugees based upon resolution 194 and 181: (1) accepting a sovereign Palestinian state according to UN resolution 181 (Partition of Palestine), and (2) accepting the return of refugees to "their home" according to UN resolution 194 How shamefully lopsided Israeli policies have become. It seems there is no justice for Palestinians in Israel. I find that despicable. Dutch
