Basat Bey, I as an American who has studied this problem truly understands several items... 1st to truly understand this situation you must remember to trash all propaganda from all involved parties, Turkish, Armenian, Greek, French, British Russian and even the US. 2nd you must throw out the word genocide completely or you have to use it for all conflict going back millennium. 3rd All parties must admit none of their hands are clean and open slaughter of civilians occurred many innocent others not so. With the above points understood this terrible period should be remembered; to call it genocide is a total disservice to the real victims of genocide perpetrated in the 20th century. I thank you for your perspective on this issue. What is your perspective on England (Churchill) and his detaining the ships and Ottoman crews which the Ottomans had paid for causing the Ottomans to side with Germany in WW1?
