Hi kids! Google EIA - the US Energy Information Administration (I think) and search US oil imports by country of origin and you will find Canada #1, then Mexico, Saudi, Venezuela. Its a little misleading because in the marketplace transportation costs are a factor. Cheaper to ship oil to USA from Canada/Maxico than Saudi/middle east. Klaudia - The good news: at present consumption rates the USA has a 300 year supply of shale oil! (we don't need no stinking arabs!) The bad news: gasoline from shale oil will cost over $10 a gallon. (yes we do) bye kids!
