Avi... I am sorry to disagree... but there's a world of difference between Fatah and Hamas. Fayad and to some degree Abbas have improved the situation on the ground in the last 3 years. The security predicament and the West Bank economy are showing signs of life. Yes... corruption is still a hold over, but that's their own internal matter. It would really be helpful, if Israelis recognize that and work toward a reconciliation with the Palestinians. I realize there's a lot of violent history to forgive... and that is a difficult thing to do. Certainly, trust is the last obstacle to overcome. But as you probably understand, peace takes a lot of work from both sides... and nothing comes easy. Cheers... Avi.
