PSM: "He did not sell the names of agents to the USSR or submarine secrets to the enemy." The flaw in this weird claim of "innocence": the USA thinks he passed those secrets to Israeli spooks who were, in turn, compromised by Russia. So even if he - personally - did not sell those secrets to the Russians, he is still culpable i.e. the Russians got hold of those secrets BECAUSE of his actions. Which makes him guilty. PSM: "He got a longer sentence. Is he being kept quiet?" He is being punished, PETER. So is Israel. The volume of information he passed on was so HUGE that he can't account for it all. The USA has demanded to know what information Pollard has passed on, and if the apologists are right - that he only handed over info that Israel *should* have been entitled to - then there is no real reason for them to refuse. But they do, so the USA has to assume the worst. That's why he is still in the slammer.
