To date,Egypt has honoured the peace agreement it has with Israel and stil does.Mubarak even went so far to press on Arafat to accept Barak's peace plan.I don't think he would risk doing something that would make him look like a cheater. However I agree that all other withdrawals have been disasters for Israel but the problem is that something must be done in the region to make peace work.There is the dilemma of giving back land or occupying more land.In the first case,you are regarded as moral and loyal but if your ennemies don't appreciate your move,then you put your ennemies at your door;in the second case,you have still ennemies but you have pushed them to a distance where they can't shoot you from-but in the same time you are regarded as cruel and oppressive.Either ways,it's not a good thing.You see,when you are a Jew you are always the scapegoat...
